• Advancement OpportunitiesJob DetailsReal estate investment and property management company looking to hire a Property Accountant who has a strong understanding of accounting for residential/commercial properties. Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Full Cycle Accounting
  • Core functions include accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, depreciation/amortization schedules
  • Prepare monthly financial package with supporting workpapers and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate and in accordance with US GAAP standards
  • Assist in monthly and year-to-date budget vs. actual variance analysis
  • Work in conjunction with operation teams in daily operations and assist as needed.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation in preparation for quarterly audit
  • Oversee internal controls and enforce company accounting policies
  • Assist the Controller with miscellaneous tasks as needed.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Master's degree preferred.
    • 3-5 years related real estate accounting experience.
    • Strong excel and analytical skills
