Job Description:

A financial services organization in Florida is actively seeking an analytical and dynamic professional to join their staff as their new Private Equity Fund Accountant. In this role, the Private Equity Fund Accountant will review month-end close packages from the administrator, as well as prepare and oversee the completion of internal allocations and expense accruals.

Responsibilities

The Private Equity Fund Accountant:

• 
  
• Prepare budget for each fund
  
• Process capital call and distributions to investors
  
• Participate in month end valuation process
  
• Analyze investment documents and properly set up investment structures
  
• Review reporting and information to clients and investors and ensures accuracy
  
• Support IR team on ad hoc and monthly investor requests
  
• Prepare asset tracking and net asset value calculations
  
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual client financial statements
  
• Support client income distribution and funding operations
  
• Perform hedge fund management reporting
  
• Process funding of new investments
  
  Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree
    
  • 3-7+ years of experience
    
  • Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
    
  • Ability to multitask
