design, installation, service and maintenance of fire alarm,
Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) Systems, card access, camera

Development Associate. This role is ideal for goal-oriented,

great time to join our team. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities
- Develop and build a book of business using appropriate
prospecting strategies with Electrical, General & Other
Sub-Contractors, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP)
Consultants, Architects, Real Estate Developers, Financiers,
Property & Portfolio Managers, Building Owners, Government Agencies
and National Account Companies and End-Users.
- Actively pursue small to large complex fire alarm system,
Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) Systems and security system sales
from potential Clients in the commercial, residential and
government construction industry to meet appropriate Grade Level
sales targets.
- Actively pursue fire alarm, security system, central station
and Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) Systems service contracts from
potential Clients.
- Actively pursue diverse revenue channels from existing Client
base and develop new territories.
- Build trust and rapport with existing and potential
Clients.
- Identify, qualify, and assess Client needs to determine
suitable products and services.
- Prepare quote, contract, bid, technical and narrative approach
proposal packages and collaterals to provide integrated solutions
to help organizations manage their life safety, BDAS and security
needs.
- Develop, and implement sales strategies; negotiate and close
profitable projects and service contracts.
- Negotiate favorable buy terms with vendor Electrical
Contractors on out-sourced prime jobs.
- Monitor Client communication and promptly responding to calls
and emails.
- Lead group meetings with a variety of different departments,
such as the Accounting, Service and Project Operations departments
and/or stakeholders to better serve the Clients' needs.
- Prepare bi-weekly sales activity report, semi-annual and annual
goal plans. Minimum Qualifications
- Two Year Technical Degree or an equivalent of industry
experience in life safety and/or electronic security systems
required
- Knowledge of High Rise Fire (HRF) organizational structure and
all department functionalities and workflow
- Knowledge of EST fire alarm and BLA systems products,
operation, and functionality
- Knowledge of security systems products, operation, and
functionality
- Knowledge of the commercial and residential industry
- Ability to read, interpret and strategically use life safety
systems blueprints and schematics, sequence of operation, job
specifications to close sales
- Knowledge of project value engineering techniques
- Understanding and application of Florida Building codes and
NFPA fire alarm codes
- Ability to prospect, assess needs, articulate the HRF value
proposition and solutions, negotiate and persuade
- Advance proficiency in computer office applications including
our proprietary CRM, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work both independently
and in a team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure while preparing multiple
projects and meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of project management process and systems
